This is an introduction to Somnipro.  Somnipro is an Institute which founded the Philosophy and Science of Rehabilitation Education - with the primary focus on the rehabilitation of offenders in Correctional Centres, by professionally trained rehabilitators.  The field of rehabilitation, its systems, agencies, facilities, companies, and especially its rehabilitation professionals, individually and collectively, share major responsibilities in responding to the needs of the individuals imprisoned in South Africa. 

Rehabilitation is defined as 

"a process of helping imprisoned individuals move from positions of dependency in their community (prison) toward positions of independency in a community of their choice, after their release and rehabilitation – and successful re-integration into society as worthy citizen’s.” 

 Firstly, the offender rehabilitation profession has consistently held the belief that each individual is of great worth and dignity.

 Secondly, rehabilitation professionals have maintained that every person should have equal opportunity to maximize his or her potential and is deserving of societal help in attempting to do so.

 Thirdly, the rehabilitation profession assumes that offenders by and large strive to grow and change in positive directions, reflecting both optimism and the belief in the inherent goodness of mankind.

 Fourthly, the rehabilitation profession assumes that individuals should be free to make their own decisions about the management of their lives – by participating in the rehabilitation programs and eventual re-integration into society. 

 The initiation and establishment of the ORP (Offender Rehabilitation Path) programme in South African Correctional Facilities (prisons) was proven to be so successful that the Government has approved it as the official offender rehabilitation programme. The first and foremost principle is that there are no formulas for rehabilitation – just caring about fellow human beings and working towards reconciliation and making a difference in one’s society.  SOMNIPRO being the vehicle for this process.

 This rehabilitation programme involve all levels of the society,  as well as the wardens and social workers within Correctional Centres.  Without the co-operation of all the role-players, this programme would surely fail.

 ROLE PLAYERS:

 Individuals who would like to do something about the spiralling crime rate, but does not know what, where, when or how.  Not necessarily a victim of crime, but a concerned citizen.  A person who would assist a project such as this by donating financially towards the training of rehabilitators – who receive their training for FREE, because you, the concerned citizen donated towards their training with a monthly SOMNIPRO Membership contribution of R150-00. About $18.

 This is also a chance for Business, South Africa, to become actively involved in this crime prevention project – whilst advertising their products/services to a world-wide client base for the monthly SOMNIPRO Membership fee of R200-00, about $25.  Somnipro has clients in 251 countries in the world and students in 67 countries in the world!  This is a proudly  South African programme, and coveted by many nations in the world, desiring its implementation within its own prisons.

COMPENSATION PLAN

 For the purpose of encouraging our membership to grow we have created this sales portal, giving our members the opportunity to earn income on all member signups that occur as a result of your referral.

 On each referral done by you personally, you will receive R75, $9.50, per month upon their successful payment.  South Africa’s biggest problem is not crime but rehabilitation of prisoners / criminals. 97% of people getting parole is back in prison in 5 years’ time.
